Each filtering bag Cicines (Chinese: 萤, "fireflies") are small bat-like creatures that do not deal much damage or have much life, but are difficult to lock up and defeat. By attacking together with other enemies, they can become a real nuisance.

Strategy
Bow characters and Catalyst characters can easily defeat Cicines, thanks to auto-aim. However, this becomes an obstacle while fighting a Cicin Fatui Mage, as the Mage can simply keep spawning Cicines, preventing you from killing the main threat. Fischl's self-attack skills like Nightwatch and Night Illusion are able to deal with them quickly and efficiently; Otherwise, Diona's Frozen Claw can take care of them too. Anemo abilities can bring them closer to you, with examples like Traveler's Vortex Sword or Jean's Blizzard's Edge work quite well.
Most of the time, it's just a matter of killing them quickly; And if you have a character that can create a shield, then any threat the Cicines pose to you will go away. Any damage they can inflict on you also effectively disappears if you have a character who can heal, like Barbara.
The damage they do is negligible at all levels in the world, and having characters that heal is just as good, if not better, than a shield.
